Sticky Honey Soy Chicken Skewers
Quick to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 
800g chicken breast, cut into cubes
 - 
¼ cup soy sauce
 - 
2 tbsp honey
 - 
1 tbsp sesame oil
 - 
2 garlic cloves, crushed
 - 
1 tbsp grated ginger
 - 
1 tbsp brown sugar
 - 
Sesame seeds and spring onions (for garnish)
 - 
Bamboo skewers (soaked in water for 30 min)
 
Method:

Mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar.
 - 
Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
 - 
Thread chicken onto skewers and grill or BBQ for 8–10 minutes, turning often until cooked through and caramelised.
 - 
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions before serving.
 
Serving Tip: Serve with rice or a crisp spring salad for an easy outdoor meal.
Swop Option: Chicken breast can be replaced with thigh fillets!
