Lemon Herb Chicken Breast Steaks
Fresh, zesty, and perfect for warm evenings.
Ingredients (serves 4):

800g–1kg chicken breast steaks (or slice whole breasts into even 1.5–2cm thick pieces)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lemon (zest + juice)

3 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp dried thyme
-
1 tsp paprika
-
Salt & pepper
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (to garnish)
Method:

Mix olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Coat chicken breast steaks and marinate for at least 20 minutes (longer = more flavour).

For BBQ: Grill over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly charred and cooked through.
For pan/oven:-
Pan fry 4–5 minutes per side, OR

Bake at 200°C for 18–20 minutes.

Rest for 3 minutes, then top with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
Serving Tip:
Pairs perfectly with salads, couscous, or roasted veggies for an easy summer meal.
