Hearty Beef Stew

Hearty Beef Stew 

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of diced beef
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, brown the beef cubes over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the beef back to the pot along with carrots, potatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 2 hours or until the beef is tender.
  5. Serve hot with crusty bread for a perfect winter meal!
