BBQ Lamb Burgers with Mint Yoghurt Sauce

BBQ Lamb Burgers with Mint Yoghurt Sauce

Easy to cook on the grill & hearty.

Ingredients (makes 4 burgers):

  • 500g lamb mince

  • 1 small onion, finely grated

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 4 burger buns

  • Lettuce, tomato, red onion (to serve)

Mint Yoghurt Sauce:

  • ½ cup Greek yoghurt

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped

  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Mix lamb mince, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt & pepper. Shape into 4 patties.

  2. Grill or BBQ over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through.

  3. Mix yoghurt, lemon juice, mint, and salt for the sauce.

  4. Assemble burgers with patties, sauce, and fresh salad. Serve in toasted buns.
